‘Flick of the Switch’ turns 40 this month!
Released on August 19th, 1983, the album was recorded in April-May 1983 at Compass Point Studios where the band had recorded ‘Back In Black’ three years earlier. It was the first album self-produced by the band, and was mixed at Electric Lady Studios in New York. It reached #15 in the US & #4 in the UK charts, eventually going Platinum in the US.
